Why am I getting a reimbursement?
A bond is a cash amount paid to the judicial system to secure someone's release from jail. If the individual fails to appear in court as required, the bond is forfeited. However, once the case is closed—regardless of the verdict, whether guilty or innocent—as long as all bond conditions were met, the bond becomes eligible for reimbursement. Our legal team goes beyond the basics, conducting in-depth investigations to efficiently locate and recover your entitled funds, ensuring that no detail is overlooked in the process.
Can I still get a reimbursement If I live out of county?
Yes, you are still eligible for a reimbursement even if you live outside the county. Simply notarize the required documents and mail them to our office. Once we receive your paperwork, our legal team will handle the processing, and your reimbursement check will be ready approximately 15-20 business days after submission.
Do you work for or with the county?
Since counties often lack the time and resources to notify every surety when their case becomes eligible for a reimbursement, our independent agency steps in to bridge that gap. We are not affiliated with the courts or any government entity; we operate separately to assist sureties by working closely with public records to locate and contact them as soon as their case qualifies. This ensures you receive your reimbursement quickly and efficiently, even if you live outside the county.
What is a Contingency Contract?
A contingency contract in the recovery process is a legal agreement that outlines the terms under which The Recovery Coaches can represent you. The key principle of this contract is "no return = no fee," meaning you are not charged unless the recovery is successful. This arrangement allows our team to legally act on your behalf, pursuing the reimbursement or recovery of funds owed to you. The contract clearly defines the percentage or amount of the recovered funds that will be retained as our fee, ensuring transparency and mutual understanding between us & our clients.

We accept the following ID's for processing your reimbursement:
- Valid Driver's License
- Government Issued ID
- Passport
- Matricula Consular
Please bring one of these ID's to your appointment. All ID's must be valid. No expired ID's are accepted.
